Tobavarchkhili Lakes - 5 Days

Tobavarchkhili lakes are a general term referring to several lakes in the mountainous region of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti. The tour covers some of the most famous landmarks in the Samegrelo region. Before you embark on the trails leading to the lakes, you will visit the Intsra Canyon, Kuakantsalia, and Magana Gorge. You will overnight in cottages, tent, or at shepherds' camps. Here, you'll be treated with Megrelian cuisine and various dairy products. During the tour, you will visit Okhoje Toba (Little Toba), located at 2,550 meters above sea level, Tobavarchkhli (Big Toba), at 2,650 meters above sea level, Okara and a heart-shaped Kalalish Toba. Upon the request, the guide can take you to the source of the river Khobistskali. On your way back, you'll walk through Skuri Valley and visit gorgeous waterfalls and nature landscapes.
